    About the Trail

Davis Mtn State Park Camping and Hiking Trip

We have added an extra day to this annual trip because there are so many wonderful things to see and do in the DAVIS MTS.     Plan your vacation around these dates or come when you can.  McDonald Observatory, the Marva lights (by the way we did see the lights last August), hiking in the Nature Conservancy land, camping in Ft..Davis State Park or staying at Indian Lodge and lots of wonderful surprises you can count on if you join us on this remarkable adventure.  But the best thing of all - it's August and cool in those beautiful mountains.  Bring a jacket and a warm sleeping bag.  You will love it!!
