Tue, Jun 21 - Dallas Sierra Club Night Hike. Celebrate the First Day of Summer. Meet at 7:00 pm near the pavilions. Arbor Hills is located at 6701 W. Parker Rd. in Plano just west of Midway Rd. Habitat Restoration & Trail Maintenance at Cedar Ridge Preserve from 9 am - 11 am, rain or shine. Volunteers remove non-native plants, restore trails, and work in the butterfly garden. Repairing trails reduces erosion trouble spots and removing non-native plants clears crowded trail edges. We'll provide snacks, water, pruning shears, shovels, and work gloves. Learn the parts of the canoe, safety and paddling techniques along with a leisurely paddle at Lake Arlington. Equipment provided. Ages 8 & up. One adult per child. $30/4 classes (Tuesdays in July).
