On November 19th, 2011, participants will hike 28.3 miles of the Lone Star Trail while you help raise money towards finding a cure for children's cancer, the #1 cause of death by disease in children.

For information session dates/times and to RSVP, click here.About the TrailThe Lone Star Hiking trail winds through the Sam Houston National Forest, which has close to 17,000 wooded acres and spans across three counties. Sam Houston National Forest features numerous lakes, hiking trails, magnolias, birds, and wildlife making this trail a hiker’s paradise.Is there a fee to participate?Each ultimate hiker will be asked to raise a minimum amount of funds to cover their expenses and to help CureSearch continue its mission to find a cure for children's cancer. A $100 registration donation will be charged at the time of registration and will be credited towrads your fundraising. Nearly 95 cents on every dollar raised goes to finding a cure for children's cancer. |
