A family of vultures is being observed by a group of students at the University of North Texas in Denton. The project leaders say their mission is to help people see past vulture stereotypes, learn what they’re up to in their daily lives and help protect them.

The Green Thistle Emporium, east of downtown Fort Worth, celebrates zero-waste ethos with refillery, handmade upcycled products.

Usefull has helped divert more than 7,300 plastic bottles from landfills, since it started as a pop-up store in 2018. The brick-and-mortar shop opened in Oak Cliff’s Bishop Arts District last year.

This week, Fort Worth City Council green-lighted a data center next to historic Weston Gardens retail center and demonstration gardens.
