Audubon Dallas: Christmas Bird Count - Dallas

If you have never done a Count before, the best description is an all-day census of birds within a predefined 15-mile diameter circle. The Dallas Count Circle is centered near the intersection of Inwood Road and Cedar Springs. River Legacy: Texas Tree Trails - Arlington

Using River Legacy's unique riparian forest as a backdrop, regional forester Courtney Blevins will teach participants about the structure, function and value of trees. Learn about the Texas Tree Trails program and its benefits of identifying trees, learning about historical trees and accessing trees and tree trails using the Texas Trees Trails Web site. This adult workshop is best suited for ages 10 and up.
