Marshall Grain: Make a Pawprint Painting for Father's Day - Grapevine

Marshall Grain will help you and your dog prepare for Father’s Day by making a beautifully decorated water color pawprint painting. Capture the affection that your dad has for his treasured canine companion with this special keepsake. Just bring Dad’s furry family member in at 11 a.m. and we will help you make a water color pawprint of your Dad’s dog on high quality paper. Then our staff artist will complete the painting for you to make a keepsake pawprint painting.

Dallas Arboretum: Fathers Day Weekend - Dallas

Guests can enjoy beer samples, a cooking demonstration on how to prepare craft sausages, live music and Elliot's Hardware will be showcasing grills at A Tasteful Place. Young Chefs Academy presents a parent and child hands-on cooking class in the demonstration kitchen in A Tasteful Place on June 17 at 1 p.m. (Visit www.dallasarboretum.org/named-gardens-features/a-tasteful-place to register.) The Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden will be hosting a puppet show and a Super Dads craft corner all weekend long (while supplies last).

Oliver Nature Park: Junior Physicists - Mansfield

Every action has a reaction, and what goes up must come down. Investigate the physics of air and gas pressure. How far can a balloon racer travel? Can invisible gases blow the lid off a container? Get these answers and more through hands‐on experiments and demonstrations. Pre‐registration is required. $7-$9.

Paint the Town: Deaf Action Center - Dallas

Have fun painting this Dallas icon with professional recycle artist, VET.  "Dallas Skies" is the seventh opportunity, in a series of 10 free workshops, to be held city wide. You will receive all the supplies you need, along with step-by-step instructions. Create a "ready to hang" piece of artwork. No previous skill required.  This is a free workshop, but you must pre-register a slot to attend. Contact the host site for details.

Dallas Vegan Roundup: North Texas Vegan Potluck & Picnic - Grapevine

Join us in Grapevine for the 3rd Annual North Texas Vegan Potluck & Picnic. Trawick Pavilion offers basketball, sand volleyball, lake access for swimming, a children's playground, and more! 

Your payment includes vegan burgers & hot dogs and helps pay the fee for reserving the pavilion.

Please be prepared to bring a vegan dish as well. You’ll be prompted to sign up for a potluck item after you submit payment for the event.
