Greater Fort Worth Sierra Club: Holiday Party - Fort Worth

In December we will not have a regular meeting with a speaker, but instead will socialize and celebrate the holidays with members and guests. Bring food or a dessert to share. Drinks will be provided. We will have a raffle for an new REI Camp Dome 2 tent and two sets of 50th Anniversary FW Nature Center wine glasses, and our Sierra Club merchandise will be available for sale.

Greater Fort Worth Sierra Club: Happy Hour Meet & Greet - Fort Worth

Join us for happy hour at the historic T&P Tavern. Learn about what we do in the Sierra Club and meet others who are interested in the outdoors and advocacy. There is paid parking in the front lot and on the street (free after 6) or there is a free lot in the back of T&P Station. Access the back lot from Vickery Blvd between Jennings and Main St.

Texas Society for Ecological Restoration: 2017 Annual Conference - Resilience & Connectivity at Our Roots - Denton (Thru Nov. 12)

Founded in 1995 at UNT, TXSER is heading back to Denton to hold the annual conference in the beautiful Environmental Education, Science and Technology building. Conference will feature informal networking, outdoor learning and fun. Ken Steigman, director and research scientist at Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area, is the keynote speaker. Early registration runs through the end of September.
