Native Prairies Association of Texas Fort Worth Chapter: Commanche Peak Prairie Clover Hike - Fort Worth

This hike will be a tour of Prairie Barren sites in northern Tarrant County and adjacent Wise County. Emphasis will be to search for the rare Comanche Peak Prairie Clover (Dalea Reverchonii) & other rare and endemic species in north Texas. Meet at Eagle Mountain Park at 8:45am, then we will carpool or caravan to the various sites.

This workshop covers basic lawn maintenance practices and selecting the right turf grass to improve the health and longevity of your landscape. You will learn how maintain your landscape using less water, fertilizers and pesticides.
Daniel Cunningham, a horticulturalist with the Water University at Texas A&M AgriLife Research in Dallas will be the instructor.
