The Great Seed Bomb was started last year by Jillian Jordan as a bike ride along the Trinity Trails in Fort Worth to promote awareness of the monarch and bee crises. Riders scattered wildflower seed bombs along the trail.
This year Jillian is hoping to grow the event. GSB is needing 1- a team, 2- funding and 3- support for GSB's next phase and the next round of events.
Join Women in the Environment for its annual Networking Breakfast. Members will have an opportunity to share their story, product, business cards and passion for the environment with other like-minded women (and men). Non-members are invited, too, but only members will have the opportunity to share their information. Walk the gardens after the breakfast for a great way to celebrate the morning! $20-$25.

Speaker Katherine Wells Power of the Historic Frankford Church and Cemetery will talk about the church and the founding families of the area. We will also be able walk near (but not on) one of the few unspoiled remnants of native grassland prairie in the Metroplex. The land "was never broken by a plow.” We will also be able to see the cemetery and the historic Wagon Yard Elm, which has been recognized by our coalition. There is also a spring on the site.
