Bird and nature walks, tree and plant identification, and more

Native Prairies Association of Texas, Fort Worth Chapter: Stella Rowan Prairie Walk - Floyd

Visit a native remnant prairie that exists right here in Tarrant County! We'll talk a walk through the prairie to see what is growing, what native plants & wildlife are present since this prairie was not mowed this summer and we had good August rains! Bring your phone or camera to take a few photos to add to the iNaturalist Project "Stella Rowan Prairie" to help us document what is here. Enjoy the fall season wildflowers in their native prairie environment and maybe we will get lucky and see a few Monarchs migrating south! Wear closed toe shoes and long pants.

Native Prairies Association of Texas, Fort Worth Chapter: Paul Mathews Prairie Field Trip - Floyd
