North Texas teens tackle ocean trash with robots

North Texas students participate in a national robotics competition to address ocean sustainability, designing robots to tackle plastic waste. The BEST Robotics program, which promotes STEM education, involves creating robots for cleaning tasks, along with comprehensive student engagement in engineering projects, research, and community awareness on environmental issues.

Air monitoring training to be held in Dallas

Downwinders at Risk is hosting a free air monitoring training on Sept. 22 at GoodWork, Dallas. Attendees will learn to use portable monitors for the DFW Air Research Consortium. After three sessions, participants can borrow monitors for projects. The event involves classroom and field training.
