How to recycle your holiday tree in North Texas

When the holidays are over and you're ready to dispose of holiday trees, boxes and wrapping paper, you may be able to recycle some or all of the refuse. Check the guide below to learn what your community offers. Check your city's website, if you don't see it listed.

The Swedish vehicle manufacturer foresees a world in which you travel long distances without the need for airports. Along with no airport security, hours of queuing and cramped airliners, instead one enjoys the comfort of a first-class private cabin, being picked up and returned home when the trip is over.

North Texas tours showcase waterwise gardens

Can you have an attractive yard in DFW without running up your water bill? Two garden tours give North Texans a chance to check out the yards of folks who have mastered the art of sustainable gardening.

The city of Dallas pioneered the event, launching its annual Waterwise Tour 24 years ago. Plano began its own tour six years ago and both cities have transitioned from a spring event to a fall tour in October.
