Earth Day Texas dives into ocean advocacy with new exhibits, keynote Sylvia Earle

This year, ocean health will be a focus of the festival with keynote speaker oceanographer and environmentalist Sylvia Earth, along with exhibits, film screenings and a dive pool from Go Dive Now.

Artist paints mod mural in rural Collin County

A Texas artist recently created some interesting roadside art for residents and drivers through Collin County. 

Houston-born Nathan Randall Green was hired by Light Farms to create the abstract mural at its 1,070-acre master-planned community in Celina, Texas.

The community, developed by Republic Property Group, already includes progressive amenities such as hiking and biking trails, a greenbelt system, a fitness center and a bike-sharing program. 

GreenBoxes join pizza party at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine

The GreenBox is a hit at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, which uses about 1,500 of the eco-friendly boxes per week during the busy season.
