Eco-art show to showcase local green artists Sept. 11 in Addison

DFW-based Women in the Environment is hosting its second annual eco-art show on Sept. 11 in Addison. The show will feature art, jewelry and other items made from recycled, repurposed or sustainable materials.

The Memnosyne Institute’s Interfaith Service Network focuses on collaborative community service and interfaith dialogue. Its Hunger Task Force is in the food sharing and saving business, providing food to needy people in the DFW area.
