Citizens' Clmate Lobby Denton Chapter: Monthly Meeting - Denton

Get together for coffee and snacks while making plans for this month's actions (both local and national) in scheduling in-district meetings with Congressman Burgess & Sen. Cornyn as well as developing newspaper Letters to the Editor.

Daggett Montessori Green Team: Recycling & Sustainability Fair - Fort Worth

The Recycling and Sustainability Fair is three-fold: drop off for hard-to-recycle items, education and community support. Several organizations will attend that will be taking materials for recycling or reuse. It is also an event to educate the public about what and how to recycle, air quality, stormwater quality and the effects of single-use disposable bags. The event will also support Daggett Montessori #GreenTeam and #PTA in its challenge to win $500 to $5,000 through the RecycleBank #CleanGreenFW Challenge. Attendees can also sign up for RecycleBank at the fair. 

Liveable Arlington: Lobbying Workshop - Arlington

This workshop should be helpful if you are:

- Lobbying a city council person or a legislator

- Wanting to produce effective handouts and materials

- Preparing for the meeting/asking for what you want

We will also address the upcoming Texas Railroad Commission Sunset for the 2017 session:
