Homestead Tour - Royce City

Tour a two-acre homestead in Royce City, outside of Rockwall. See demonstrations of canning hardware, electric dehydrator, oat roller, corn sheller, corn grinder, cane press and horse drawn seed planter. Many Permaculture methods have been put into practice in the garden such as salvaged and repurposed materials, fruit trees, permanent rows, worm composting and bee hive.
RSVP is required as space is limited.

Spring Vegetable Gardening for Families - Fort Worth

The Tarrant County Master Gardener Association is hosting a “Spring Vegetable Gardening” class for families with children 5 years old and up. Learn how to select, tend and harvest warm season vegetables, create a square-foot garden and build a raised vegetable bed. $10/person; $15/parent and 1 child; $20/parent and two children.
