GLOBE at Night Star Party - Tarrant County

Star parties are being held at three locations in Tarrant County to bring attention to light pollution: The Tandy Hills Natural Area in Fort Worth (http://tandyhills.org), the Fort Worth Prairie Park (https://www.facebook.com/savetheprairie) and the Bob Jones Nature Center in Southlake  (http://www.bjnc.org). Participants will observe the sky and upload their observations. The event is part of an international citizen scientist program (GlobeAtNight.org). North Texas Electric Auto Association - Dallas

Member is hosting the May meeting at his home. See his John Deere 96 electric riding mower, a neutron push mower and all electric yard tools. He also has two Ego scooter bikes, three electric mopeds, his DIY VW Golf EV and a Nissan Leaf. His neighbor also just got a new Tesla.

For EV drivers, there is one J1772 plug charging station and a 120 volt, which could support 2 or possibly 3 EVs if necessary (plan to bring your good long extension cord).

All monthly meetings are free to attend and open to the public.
