The Nature Conservancy of Texas: Tallgrass Tour - Greenville

We'll be leading walks through the late summer blooms, including some of Texas’ true ‘tall grasses’! The 1,400-acre Clymer meadow contains one of the last remnants of the Blackland Prairie, an ecosystem that once stretched from the Texas coast to southern Manitoba. Our wildflower tour will bring you up close and personal different types of rare prairieland and expose you to a variety of rare plants. Cameras, sunscreen, hat, long pants, hiking boots, bottled water, sack lunch and bug spray are all recommended. Pack a picnic lunch and a beverage, and bring the whole family!
