Libertine is well-known for their great vegan food, including seitan tacos, portobello fries and the Beyond Burger! We love their great beer selection and aquafaba-based cocktails!

Black Vegetarian Society of Texas and Animal Connection of Texas are teaming up again for our annual Holiday Veggie 201 Class and Potluck. Bring your favorite holiday-themed vegan dish to feed ten or more. If you are unable to prepare a dish, come anyway; and, if you like, make a contribution of $5 or more. 

The event will begin with a Veggie 201 Class, "Sharing Holiday Meals with Non-Vegetarians, " at 11:30 am. We expect to eat around 12:30 p.m.

It's time of the year for our favorite potluck. Take a dish you loved to eat on Thanksgiving and veganize it. Bring a friend, a notecard with ingredients, a plate and a dish and lets enjoy the festivities.

Bring some extra cash to buy some awesome juice at Juice Lab.

Enjoy a fun and casual evening, with tasty nibbles, refreshments, fellowship and networking. Bring plenty of business cards.

Parking is available in Carrollton's downtown area. Arrive early and do a little shopping downtown. DART Green Line rail is also available.

Join EarthxFilm and the Dallas Farmers Market to celebrate the Inaugural Half-Earth Day event with a Taco Throwdown and a screening of the film Charged.

Screening and Taco Throwdown will take place on S. Pearl Expy, in front of Rex's Seafood at the Dallas Farmers Market. In case of inclement weather, the screening will be held under the Shed at Dallas Farmers Market.

White Rock Farmers Market will be opening an aisle at the farmers market dedicated to vegan only vendors to taste the power of plant-based.
