All concerts are held on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn. Gates open at 6 p.m. Concerts are 7:30-9:30 p.m. for Spring/Summer concerts and from 7 - 9 p.m. for Fall concerts. Garden closes at the conclusion of each concert.
Never before seen together, approximately two dozen magnificent, Texas-sized gems from the Smithsonian’s world-renowned National Gem Collection will be on display in the Lyda Hill Gems and Minerals Hall on Level 3. The mineral masterpieces, many weighing over 1,000-plus carats, include an “American Golden” topaz that tips the scales at almost 23,000 carats (more than 10 pounds), a blue topaz “football” of nearly 7,000 carats, kunzite Tiffany necklace, a Mogul emerald diamond necklace and more.
The Memnosyne Institute's Green Source DFW Sustainable Leadership Awards was launched in 2012 and has since honored many outstanding green leaders in North Texas.
Seventh annual event benefiting Promise of Peace Community Garden featuring 20 celebrity chefs and live music by Mack Price and friends rocking a Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan cover set, beer will be provided by Lakewood Brewing Co.
20 celebrity Chefs will be bringing the best okra dishes for guests to savor the exquisite flavors. In addition there will be a community table of garden to table side dishes and a children’s area sponsored by the Texas Discovery Gardens. A silent auction of local love will showcase a few of POP s favorite things
In addition to exhibitors, recycling will be offered for e-waste, medical equipment, household goods, eyeglasses, meds as well as document shredding. The H20 5K is at 8:15 a.m..

Family friendly event with a focus on its ecofriendly exhibitors and education. More than forty vendors will showcase their green products and services. Classes and demonstrations on environmental awareness will take place throughout the day. Ecofest Arlington will also have many children's activities including games, crafts and educational presentations. The city will be giving away trees while supplies last. Free.
Hosted by the city of Dallas, the eco-friendly green expo has moved to a new location this year - the site of the new Farmers Assisting Returning Military Urban Farm on Good Latimer Road. F.A.R.M. and their partner organization, Eat the Yard, will be converting it into a community gathering space with a greenhouse, raised planting beds, outdoor classrooms and more to help our returning veterans learn new skills in a therapeutic setting.
