North Texans can enjoy the partial eclipse during the outdoor watch party featuring a live NASA feed of the total eclipse, an eclipse-themed photo booth, pinhole cameras with the Perot Museum TECH Truck, miniature solar systems and other space activities. The outdoor event is free and open to the public. General admission fees apply for indoor visits.
Community Clean up will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Giveways, lunch, prizes for volunteers.

PARK(ing) Day Dallas is part of an annual, worldwide event where artists, activists, and citizens turn parking spots into temporary public parks and other spaces for people to enjoy. PARK(ing) Day is a non-commercial project, intended to promote creativity, civic engagement, critical thinking, unscripted social interactions, generosity and play.
The market will feature 35 master artists selling their handmade artwork, jewelry, textiles, home goods and more from such diverse countries as Italy, Ghana, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Ukraine, South Sudan, Myanmar and Peru, among others.

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will be holding their annual summer concert series June 2 – July 8 and they are looking for volunteers to assist patrons with sorting their recyclable materials. Volunteers will receive free admission for themselves and a guest to the performance, and can earn extra perks for volunteering at 6-plus performances. Volunteers must be available to attend mandatory training on May 31 at 6:30pm at the Botanic Garden and will need to be available from 5:45 p.m.
Attendees can talk with tree experts and vendors. Children can learn how to climb a tree, watch and participate in a snake encounters show and enjoy a tree house slide. Attendees will receive free tree saplings, informational booklets and giveaway items while supplies last.
Performances by the Singing Zoologist Lucas Miller, green vendors, eco-education, wildlife encounters, live music and food at the Cedar Hill Government Center. Free T-shirts to the first 200 attendees!
