PARK(ing) Day Dallas - Dallas

PARK(ing) Day Dallas is part of an annual, worldwide event where artists, activists, and citizens turn parking spots into temporary public parks and other spaces for people to enjoy. PARK(ing) Day is a non-commercial project, intended to promote creativity, civic engagement, critical thinking, unscripted social interactions, generosity and play.

Santa Fe International Folk Art Market: Sister Market - Arlington

The market will feature 35 master artists selling their handmade artwork, jewelry, textiles, home goods and more from such diverse countries as Italy, Ghana, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Ukraine, South Sudan, Myanmar and Peru, among others.

VIP Party on Friday, June 16, $150. 

June 17, Early Bird 8-10 a.m., $25; 

Saturday Market 10a.m.-6 p.m., $10. 

Free Admission 6-8 p.m. 

Free admission for youth ages 16 and under Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Fort Worth Botanic Garden: Concerts in the Garden - Fort Worth (Thru July 8)

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will be holding their annual summer concert series June 2 – July 8 and they are looking for volunteers to assist patrons with sorting their recyclable materials. Volunteers will receive free admission for themselves and a guest to the performance, and can earn extra perks for volunteering at 6-plus performances. Volunteers must be available to attend mandatory training on May 31 at 6:30pm at the Botanic Garden and will need to be available from 5:45 p.m.
