See native Texas snakes and other reptiles. Join director of horticulture and avid herpetologist Roger Sanderson for an in-depth look at our favorite reptilian friends. Included with admission: $4-$8.
Join the Noble Planetarium staff and the Fort Worth Astronomical Society for monthly Star Parties held in front of the museum on Gendy Street. Plenty of telescopes and astronomy buffs will be on hand. The party begins at dusk, weather permitting, and lasts until around 10:30 p.m. Free.
Parking is available in the lot south of Harley Street. Please note, parking surrounding the museum is paid parking managed by the City of Fort Worth.
Join Crosstimbers Connection for a walk to discover the reptiles and amphibians of the Refuge. We will look for such species as green tree frogs, skinks, water snakes, and slider turtles and learn about how they live. We will try to get close enough for detailed observation and talk about how to look for them and photograph them. Best for ages 7 through adult. FREE (with paid admission).
Learn what snakes live in Tarrant County. Join members of the Dallas-Fort Worth Herpetological Society as they answer your questions and allow you to view these snakes in a safe manner.
