Parents: Finish up your Christmas shopping, wrap presents or just enjoy a few quiet hours alone. Bring your children to the Activity Center where they will spend the day making, buying and wrapping Christmas presents for their families and friends. It will help if they have a list of people they want to give gifts to. We will also have a store with novelty items they can purchase anywhere from $1-$5. Pizza, drinks and dessert will be provided. Crafts are free. Bring money if you wish to purchase items. Volunteers needed. Info: Becky at 214-707-1557 or beckystillwell@sbcglobal.net.
This month we'll be working with Arlington Parks Dept. staff to remove privet and chipping up the huge brush pile that we've created from previous privet pulls. We'll also be working on our wildflower beds and picking up litter.
