On Saturday, March 24, 2012 Southlake Town Square will be transformed into a green oasis. Green Fest is the community’s premier opportunity to learn about the many ways to be environmentally friendly, endow a sustainable future, and improve daily living by going green.

Organic in the City Fashion Show - Dallas

 

Discover cutting edge sustainable and organic fashion with Texas Discovery Garden's fourth annual Organic in the City Fashion Show. This year, we’re adding a sustainable boutique so you can take fashion and accessories home with you! 

$30 in advance, $35 at door. Members pay $25.

Growing Fungi in Your Yard - Arlington

Fungi play a vital role in our ecological systems. They are one of the soils teeth and provide essential nutrients, processes and solutions to our economic, ecological and social problems. Come and learn how fungi are being utilized to solve many of the issues we face today in water filtration, pest management, reforestation, farming and more, during this adult workshop at River Legacy Living Science Center.

Best suited for ages 10 and up.

Spring Break Week for Families - Animal Exploration & Craft - Snakes - Arlington

Get an up-close look at snakes and do a related craft at the Science Center. There will be one animal presentation per hour on the hour, beginning at 10 am and ending at 1 pm.

There is a maximum of 30 people per session.

Cost is $2 per person, and there must be one adult per family.
