The North Texas Renewable Energy Group is hosting a field trip to BE-Wind, a new wind turbine manufacturing company spawned from a 10-year-old aerospace manufacturing facility. The company formed last July after four years of testing, developing and engineering of their model "EOW2800" dual-vertical-axis wind turbine. BE-Wind incorporates their team's background of aerospace manufacturing, automotive engineering and prototype capabilities to build innovative advanced wind turbines.

Plastics entrepreneur Jeff Drummond will share about his project, which is making use of existing plastics to create 100 percent recycled and biodegradable products.
