The Greater Fort Worth Sierra Clubs hosts this morning hike starting from Foster Park, following a trail that goes through Overton Park to Bellaire Drive. It is an easy hike that will acquaint you with a couple of FW city parks. There is a playground at Foster Park and at the turnaround point. Come early, so paperwork can be signed. The Greater Fort Worth Sierra Club presents Charles Kruvand, an Austin-based photographer who will discuss his photography and recent book "The Living Waters of Texas," which he coauthored with Ken Kramer, the former director of the Lone Star Chapter of the Sierra Club in Austin. Charles is the recipient of the 2010 Art in Service to the Environment Award by the Lone Star Chapter of the Sierra Club. Free.

Day-long photo safari includes a workshop lead by Dallas Zoo photographer Cathy Burkey and Texas Parks & Wildlife's chief photographer, Earl Nottingham. Participants will photograph resident wildlife and get pointers from the experts.
