Green donations go farther on North Texas Giving Day

The online fundraiser for North Texas charities will be held Sept. 19. You can pre-schedule a donation starting Sept. 9.​

Want to give North Texas green groups some love? This month is the perfect time to do it. If you donate during the 11th annual North Texas Giving Day on Sept. 19, your contributions will be amplified.

Last year alone, $48 million was raised through more than 157,000 gifts benefiting 2,700 local nonprofits 

Climate Walks aim to put North Texans on greener path

Conservatory quietly reopens at Fort Worth Botanic Garden

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden’s 10,000-square-foot Rainforest Conservatory has quietly reopened after being closed since 2016 due to maintenance and safety issues. Repairs included glass replacements and mechanical overhauls. A grand opening is planned for early 2020, supported by varied funding sources amid ongoing renovation needs.
