REAL School Gardens: Schoolyard Harvest Dinner - Fort Worth

REAL School Gardens creates learning gardens in low-income schools and trains teachers how to use them to improve student engagement and academic achievement. Once a year, a few of the partner schools are selected to plant, grow and harvest organic herbs and vegetables for the annual Schoolyard Harvest Dinner. Using the organic produce grown at the schools, GRACE restaurant hosts an elegant wine dinner, giving supporters the chance to meet the young growers, their teachers and share the harvest.
