Celebrate & shop for your upcoming holiday gifts at the lavish Auction & Design Auction. Help International Interior Design Association of Dallas Forth Worth City Center raise money for a non-profit organization benefetting Dwell with Dignity.
Dwell with Dignity is a non-profit group of interior designers and volunteers dedicated to creating soothing, inspiring homes for families struggling with homelessness and poverty. Each month, the dwell with dignity volunteers dedicate their time and creative skills to re-purpose found items and combine them with donations culminating in a spectacular new living environment for one special family.
Drawing inspiration from Dwell with Dignity’s everyday work, IIDA created lavish. lavish is an auction, but not just any auction. "Design on a Dime and Make it lavish" is this year's theme. Auction items will be featured in 15 custom
vignettes. Each vignette will be created by a design team, consisting of 5 designers. Each of the 15 design teams will be paired with 3 underwriters (furniture, material and accessory). By using donated items from the underwriters and by re-purposing other items, the teams will each create a vignette full of auction items that are sure to impress even the trendiest of décor shoppers.
Not in the market for household décor? Not to worry, vignettes will also feature items such as accessories, gift baskets, and much more. With a band on the stage and a drink in your hand, come shop till you drop and remember- tis the season for giving. All proceeds benefit IIDA and Dwell with Dignity.
