By composting we can reduce the amount of waste we send to the landfill. In fact, at least 30% of the material sent to the landfill is organic

Birds' Christmas Tree - Fort Worth

Share your holiday gift giving with our feathered friends. Children of all ages are invited to make biodegradable bird treats ahead of time and bring them to the event to hang in the Garden’s Grove, providing food for wildlife and a little holiday cheer. This free event, complete with music and entertainment, is one of Fort Worth’s oldest holiday traditions.

USGBC Green Apple Day of Service

The Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council will host the first ever Green Apple Day of Service. For one day, advocates from across the country and around the world will come together in support of healthy, sustainable schools by taking real action in their communities.

Butterfly Flutterby - Grapevine

Annual events features a colorful parade with children and pets in butterfly costumes. Registration for parade begins at 8:45 a.m. Live monarch butterfly releases will be held near the Grapevine Cotton Belt Depot.
