Description: Come join us for dinner and a round-table discussion about the findings from our recent conference on water issues in North Texas, and prepare to draft a letter in support of water recycling for the Dallas City Council. We need your input! Bring simple food to share, vegetarian preferred.

Green Faith: 'A Green Ramadan' - Webinar

Fazlun Khalid, one of the world’s foremost Muslim environmental scholars, will present "A Green Ramadan." In addition, Ibrahim Abdul-Matin, author of "Green Deen – What Islam Teaches about Protecting the Planet,' and Saffet Catovic and Faraz Khan, co-founders of Green Muslims of New Jersey, will be featured.  

The webinar will address Muslim teachings on the environment and offer practical ways to put these teachings into action during Ramadan. Free. Register for the webinar today.

Dallas Sierra Club - Texas Wildlife Conservation & Storm Water - Dallas

John Davis of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept will talk about what the future holds for Texas' wildlife. Texas Land Conservancy: National Trails Day Work Day - Oak Cliff

Join the Texas Land Conservancy for a day of volunteering and guided hiking at this 120-acre preserve, featuring 8 miles of trails. Bring water and work gloves and pruning tools (loppers or handsaws) if you have them. Children over 12 welcome with adult. Park along Pierce street. From Pierce street, turn into the entrance for Primrose Oaks Apartments. The entrance to OCNP will be on your right.
