Greater FW Sierra Club: Photographer Charles Kruvand - Fort Worth

The Greater Fort Worth Sierra Club presents Charles Kruvand, an Austin-based photographer who will discuss his photography and recent book "The Living Waters of Texas," which he coauthored with Ken Kramer, the former director of the Lone Star Chapter of the Sierra Club in Austin. Charles is the recipient of the 2010 Art in Service to the Environment Award by the Lone Star Chapter of the Sierra Club. Free.

Texas A&M AgriLife: Turning Your Land Into a Sponge - Webinar

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Trinity Waters, a conservation organization based in the Trinity River basin, will conduct free webinars for landowners in the Trinity River basin.The webinars center on the importance of proper land stewardship and water conservation to ensure future water for rural and urban areas that depend on the Trinity River.

While these webinars were developed for landowners, anyone interested in knowing how conservation efforts impact water quality and quantity in urban areas is welcome and encouraged to participate.
