Operating a trash or recycling truck is fun and challenging for most, but collections drivers in Plano make it look easy. At Talking Trash & Recycling, try working a recycling truck and get an exciting behind-the-scenes glimpse at the Environmental Waste Services operations.
Talking Trash & Recycling is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Environmental Education Center located at 4116 W. Plano Parkway at Commerce Drive. Learn what items can be recycled in Plano and how to properly dispose of yard trimmings. Discover a cool money-saving tip which makes residential recycling a better choice. (Pssst…just ask about the “free” cart!)
