Debbie has some fascinating information on what the current programs, participation and strategies are.

Debbie hails from Kansas City, Missouri. She received a B.S. in Environmental Science from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and an M.S. in Biology from Baylor University. She spent four years working for the City of Waco as their Recycling Coordinator before moving to Fort Worth. Debbie has been with the City of Fort Worth as the Commercial Recycling and Keep Fort Worth Beautiful Coordinator since late 2007 and enjoys the opportunity to help residents and businesses improve our shared environment. Debbie is married and has two boys in elementary school and enjoys reading, hiking and recreational sports in her spare time.

This supports local business, and education on effective recycling programs.

We have been invited to tour a local business that manufactures, and RECYCLES styrofoam!  Yes,  that useful, stable and decidedly difficult to recycle substance IS recyclable.  Not only that, but it is 100% recycleable.  Come see how it's done.

Lunch is available from The Texas Harvest Pie Company in Keller for $10.00.  RSVP for lunch is no later than Wendesday, June 20.

Your choice of Turkey, Beef, Ham or Veggie Sandwich on Rye, Wheat or Whole Grain.  Sides include mixed greens or chips.  Potato salad may be available, please include your request with the RSVP as well as a preferred alternative.
