Outdoor living spaces have become the rage in new home building and renovations. Students will learn and discuss styles of outdoor living spaces, landscape suggestions to incorporate within and these spaces, patios, decks and paving illustrations, fencing and irrigation options.

BRIT is open to the public on the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for public tours (beginning at 10:30 a.m.), exhibits, and self-guided tours of its LEED Platinum building.
Visitors may also explore the pocket prairie, geology wall, braided gardens and wetland area.
In addition, each First Saturday will feature a unique selection of programs and entertainment focused around a particular theme. These programs will include lectures, book chats, exhibits, classes / demonstrations, and more.
