Election Day: Proposition 6

Check your local newspaper for the address of the polling place for your precinct. You will need to show your approved form of photo ID to the election official unless you are a voter with a permanent exemption on your voter registration certificate.

Proposition 6, addressing water resources, is on the ballot: 

"The constitutional amendment providing for the creation of the State Water Implementation Fund for Texas and the State Water Implementation Revenue Fund for Texas to assist in the financing of priority projects in the state water plan to ensure the availability of adequate water resources."

Environment Texas, the Texas Sierra Club, the Nature Conservancy of Texas and the League of Women Voters are supporting Proposition 6.

City of FW: Mayor's Spooky Bike Ride - Fort Worth

Spooky Bike Ride cyclists will meet up at 6 p.m. at T&P Tavern located at 221 W. Lancaster Ave. From there, we will ride to Pioneer's Rest, one of the city's oldest cemeteries, for a surprise visit from some of Cowtown's most memorable figures. 

After the cemetery tour, head back to the T&P Tavern with a parade run around Downtown Fort Worth. T&P Tavern will be ready to serve up great food and drinks, and there will be a Halloween party with a costume contest and more. Prizes for the Best Adult Costume and Best Kid Costume. The Spooky Bike Ride and costume contest are family-friendly.
