Promise of Peace Garden: Santa's Secret Saturday - Dallas

Parents: Finish up your Christmas shopping, wrap presents or just enjoy a few quiet hours alone. Bring your children to the Activity Center where they will spend the day making, buying and wrapping Christmas presents for their families and friends. It will help if they have a list of people they want to give gifts to. We will also have a store with novelty items they can purchase anywhere from $1-$5. Pizza, drinks and dessert will be provided. Carla Diana will share stories of designing everything from washing machines to humanoid robots, offering a glimpse into a future filled with digitally-enhanced technologies. She currently leads the Smart Interaction Lab, an initiative focused on design explorations in the form of tinkering and hands-on experimentation around topics such as expressive objects, digital making and sustainability through behavior change. $10-12.
