Monthly meeting the Collin Chapter of Native Plant Society of Texas. This month's program: Gardening with Native Plants, A Roundtable Discussion. Panelists - Bill Hunter. Tony Manasseri, Roger Sanderson; moderator Bill Woodfin. Bill Hunter's expertise is with growing native annuals and Tony Manasseri brings experience and expertise in organic gardening. Roger Sanderson is the head biologist and botanist at The Texas Discovery Gardens and created the Butterfly Garden at the Heard.
Club meets second Saturday of the month. Meetings generally include a guest speaker presenting a topic of interest and a reception for meeting and greeting fellow members. Presented topics include how-to and technique discussions and travelogue presentations. $20/annual dues.
