Fort Worth Mountain Biking Association and Lanny's Alta Cocina will be hosting the first annual Fort Worth Fat Tire Festival at Gateway Park. This is an event for the whole family and is a fund raiser benefiting the FWMBA. FWMBA works closely with the city of Ft. Worth, Streams and Valleys, and the Trinity River Visions group in order to bring mountain bike trails to our city. FWMBA has logged MORE volunteer man hours of labor than ANY OTHER club or association in Ft. Worth. This Fall, FWMBA will break ground at Gateway park to bring an additional 5 miles of new trails that will provide over 250 ft. of elevation gain. With your help, we will be able to increase our club membership numbers, volunteer numbers, and be able to buy all the tools required to undertake this massive trail building project! SO, come out and join us for this super fun Mountain Bikers' party and help make a difference!!!
Location: Take Beach Street from HW121 or I30 and go east on East 1st Street. Enter Gateway from East 1st Street, not Beach. The trail head is near the soccer fields.
