This coming Friday, April 22, is Earth Day, and Slow Money DFW is excited to be part of the big Earth Day Dallas festival in downtown Dallas on both Friday AND Saturday!

We will have two booths - #818 and #820 - which will be located between Routh and Jack Evans streets.

The festival exhibit hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come see us and learn more about Slow Money DFW and the fast-growing Slow Money Movement. Come hear an eco-philosopher, Slow Food franchiser, eco-evangelist, green developer and a locavore chef share their stories and innovative ideas.

Each speaker gets only 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide.

Earth Day Dallas hopes to catalyze a "green" movement in North Texas by staging a two-day event on April 22nd and 23rd over several city blocks in the Dallas Arts District.  We anticipate 500 civic, corporate and non-profit participants engaged in an event that will be the biggest and best Earth Day celebration in this part of the United States.  Sponsors currently include:

This will be the seminal event in an ongoing movement to showcase green business and civic efforts that improve North Texas and the lives of North Texans.  Events will focus on entertaining, inspiring and educating attendees with various ways to think, work and live green by showcasing emerging green technology and providing eco-friendly activities.

This year, while we continue to conserve land and water across Texas, our work along the Gulf of Mexico has a new underlying urgency. The immediate need to invest in new and ongoing protection and restoration efforts in the gulf is clear.

Join us to learn more about the intersection of science-based strategies and our magnificent oceans, and find out how you can be a part of protecting the Gulf of Mexico—The Blue Heart of Texas.

We invite preschoolers, ages 3 - 5 and their adult companions to join us in discovering the exciting world of nature. In April, we will be learning about honeybees. Pre-registration required. $10 PER CHILD (includes admission fee)/MEMBERS $5.
