Greater Fort Worth Sierra Club: Pollinators - Fort Worth

Mark Klym, coordinator of the Texas Hummingbird Roundup and Texas Wildscapes program at Texas Parks and Wildlife is our speaker this month. His program will focus on the decline of pollinators all around us. Monarchs are a prime example of that decline with the drastic loss of individuals in the eastern populations leading to calls to list this migratory insect as endangered. Habitat loss and factors contributing to habitat loss are probably the most significant factor in this decline. This talk will address some of these factors and action we can take to reduce and reverse this impact.
