Activities planned for this year include fitness demonstrations, guest speakers, informational tables, vegan cooking demos, free food sampling, and more. Free. Presented by Black Vegetarian Society of Texas and Animal Connection of Texas. Tabled by various groups for outreach.

Volunteer responsibilities include:

Greeting the students and teachers as they arrive at the market

Overseeing hand washing

Assisting chefs and growers as needed

Assisting students with tasting component

Assisting in the shopping and preparation of the Harvest salad

Clean up and other duties as assigned

Gates open at 10am. LAST SAFARI TRAM LEAVES @ 4:00PM! This means that all interaction with education animals and self-guided sections of the tour will close at 4:30. If you're coming at the end of the day, we suggest arriving by 3:30 to ensure you get everything in before the last tram leaves @ 4:00. No one will be admitted to the ranch after 4:00pm.

Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit ranch licensed and regulated by the USDA.

Walk through the woods with family, friends, and a trained naturalist guide. No pets allowed. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult. $2/person.

Behind-the-scenes visit to the bison living in a secluded area at Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA). Reservations required. $2/person plus $5/person gate fee.
