Hike the Fort Worth Prairie with two wild and crazy guys, Chris Emory and Jeff Quayle. Chris, photographer extraordinaire will lead the hike Saturday morning. Jeff, botanist and Texas master naturalist, will assist with plant identification. 

The hike will be roughly 2- 3 miles round trip. Any weather limitations or cancellations will be posted on event page

Light snacks will be provided. If you like, bring your own re-usable cup. Anyone who is interested in attending the Fort Worth Interfaith Power & Light planning meeting is welcome to arrive early at 6:30 p.m. Free.

The U.S. Green Building Council - North Texas Chapter is hosting a tour of the Lady Bird Johnson Middle School in Irving, the largest net-zero middle school in the U.S. The school generates its own power through geothermal, wind and solar photovoltaics.  Members of the design team will lead the discussion and tour and discuss the design decisions that went into building the school.  $15-$35. The North Texas Corporate Recycling Association's seventh annual Eco-bus tour. This year's theme:  "LEED, Lights, & Lager."
