Take a leisurely hike around to see birds beginning their day. Bring binoculars and cameras to enhance your experience. $2-$5. Preregistration required.

Hike the Fort Worth Prairie with two wild and crazy guys, Chris Emory and Jeff Quayle. Chris, photographer extraordinaire will lead the hike Saturday morning. Jeff, botanist and Texas master naturalist, will assist with plant identification.
The hike will be roughly 2- 3 miles round trip. Any weather limitations or cancellations will be posted on event page
Light snacks will be provided. If you like, bring your own re-usable cup. Anyone who is interested in attending the Fort Worth Interfaith Power & Light planning meeting is welcome to arrive early at 6:30 p.m. Free.
The U.S. Green Building Council - North Texas Chapter is hosting a tour of the Lady Bird Johnson Middle School in Irving, the largest net-zero middle school in the U.S. The school generates its own power through geothermal, wind and solar photovoltaics. The North Texas Corporate Recycling Association's seventh annual Eco-bus tour. This year's theme: "LEED, Lights, & Lager." Stops include Pat Lobb Toyota and Franconia Brewing in McKinney with presentation by Perfectly Green. Close-toed flat shoes are required for the tour.
