The North Central Texas Council of Government hosts the annual Clean Air Action day to encourage North Texans make at least one commitment for a healthier environment and cleaner air. Participants’ choices can be as simple as carpooling or bringing a lunch to work.
Here's a list of clean air commitments to choose from.
Additionally, this year they’re holding social media contests for participants to take part in. By posting their commitment on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #CAAD and @nctcogtrans, participants have the opportunity to win a prize.

Learn how to be proactive and save water now .. before it becomes another crisis!
Midway Hills Christian Church is striving to practice environmental stewardship as they rennovate their building and grounds. Less water usage lowers their water bill and remarkably, saves on energy! (The water company has to pay for the electricity to pump and process that water!) Learn what you can do at home to reduce water usage. Our meeting will include a "field trip" outside the church for an up-close view and tour of the gardens on the church grounds.
All meetings are free and open to the public.
