Palo Pinto Mountains State Park will be hosting this free public event. Event go-ers will get a sneak preview of the new 3,331-acre park, which is under development with its opening date at least two years away.
Members of both the Texas Astronomical Society of Dallas and the Fort Worth Astronomical Society will be on hand with telescopes that attendees can use. Bring chairs, water, bug spray and your own telescope if you would like. Brisket sandwiches will be available and donations are welcome.
