Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Center: Bird Walk - Lewisville

More than 270 species of birds have been recorded in the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area’s forests, prairies and marshes. Bird watchers of all skill levels are welcome to join our master birders as they guide visitors to birding locations at LLELA. $7/includes admission. Fort Worth Sierra Club: Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge - Sherman

The FW Sierra Club hosts this hike at the 13,000-acre refuge. Hike and bird watch for 2-3 hours, then eat a late lunch at a nearby restaurant. Bring raingear, warm clothing, water, snacks, binoculars and cameras.
