In addition, the Dallas Stormwater Management Outreach Department will describe what storm water is, how it is regulated, the primary sources of pollution of storm water in Dallas, what the city of Dallas does to protect it, and what private citizens can do. Join the Texas Land Conservancy for a day of volunteering and guided hiking at this 120-acre preserve, featuring 8 miles of trails. Bring water and work gloves and pruning tools (loppers or handsaws) if you have them. Children over 12 welcome with adult. Park along Pierce street. From Pierce street, turn into the entrance for Primrose Oaks Apartments. The entrance to OCNP will be on your right. Meet just past the gate in the dirt lot.
