A Fort Worth woman, Agnieszka “Anna” Hurst, launched Eco Blossom Nursery, an online store selling native and well-adapted plants. Aimed at environmental conservation and beautifying North Texas yards, these plants offer wildlife habitat, require minimal resources, and support local ecosystems while donating to local nonprofits.

Five years ago, the Schreibers founded Lion Bear Naked Soap Co. in Denton to create nontoxic, eco-friendly cleaning products. Despite other full-time jobs, their business thrives, selling vegan, cruelty-free soaps and cleaners. Aiming to expand, they seek to relocate to a solar-powered facility.

Passionate about water and environmental education, they aim to impact how water utilities communicate, offering fresh ideas for various city sizes and applying their expertise beyond traditional roles.
