North Texans can vote on regional trail name

North Texans can vote to name the trail connecting Dallas and Fort Worth, set for completion in early 2024. NCTCOG launched a survey with two logo options: DFW Discovery Trail and DFW Trinity Trail. This initiative involves five cities and aims to enhance regional connectivity and environmentally friendly transportation.

EV company eyeing Fort Worth prairie parcel for new plant

Rivian Automotive plans a $5 billion plant on Fort Worth's west side to produce zero-emissions vehicles. Emphasizing sustainability, the company aims for net-zero carbon output, preserve 300 acres, and collaborate with the Open Space Conservation Program. Hurry! Texas rebate for electric vehicles expires Jan. 7

Texas road trip shows EVs can go the distance

Despite some challenges, including range anxiety and destination closures, the trip proved successful, showcasing the viability of electric vehicles for road-tripping.

Enthusiastic about the benefits and cost-efficiency of electric vehicles, they join a growing trend in Dallas-Fort Worth, where used EV prices are dropping amidst rising EV popularity.

Electric buses to link up popular Fort Worth stops

Fort Worth is introducing four zero-emissions battery-electric buses, starting Sept. 22, connecting downtown, the Cultural District, and entertainment areas. This public/private initiative aims to reduce noise and emissions, with funding assistance from community partners and a charging station to support the 150-mile range vehicles.

Volvo Cars has a vision of transportation right out of a sci-fi movie.

The Swedish vehicle manufacturer foresees a world in which you travel long distances without the need for airports. Along with no airport security, hours of queuing and cramped airliners, instead one enjoys the comfort of a first-class private cabin, being picked up and returned home when the trip is over.
