A Grand Prairie tradition of selling holiday ornaments for charity has taken on an environmental theme, thanks to the Mayor's wife Rebecca Jensen.

A chain link fence in the Bishop Arts District in Dallas recently got an eco-friendly makeover. The once drab border surrounding an apartment complex construction site at 305 Melba Street now sports a vibrant underwater scene made from discarded materials. As a result, a colorful seahorse, toothy shark, trailing seaweed, undulating waves and stylish school of fish is drawing smiles and compliments from local residents.

Artist paints mod mural in rural Collin County

A Texas artist recently created some interesting roadside art for residents and drivers through Collin County.
Houston-born Nathan Randall Green was hired by Light Farms to create the abstract mural at its 1,070-acre master-planned community in Celina, Texas.
The community, developed by Republic Property Group, already includes progressive amenities such as hiking and biking trails, a greenbelt system, a fitness center and a bike-sharing program.
